Pretty underwhelming. I grew up in the church and there were 7-8 people that could sing this better out of 12 members. Pretty far cry from Whitehouse Rd.
So much Truth. Speaking to us all.
Hallelujah, jubilee!!
That old powerstroke is a beauty

2:48 you know who you are.
Carol baskins in the weed house?
Tyler is a Dapper Dan man.
Been a fan of Tyler since the beginning and the good old days of Lexington KY. Unpopular opinion: His voice will always be SPOT ON, but this song and the last album is too production focused. When Sturgill picked him up and he started playing with the full band all the time, it just didn't hit the same anymore. Theres something to be said about Tyler and just his acoustic guitar. If I had never heard his younger days material and only had been exposed to "Purgatory" and forward I wouldn't have anything to complain about.
Amazing.
I’ve made 336 fake accounts so far just to hit the like button one more time. This is just one of them 🙂
All cleaned up n handsome
Total scab job. Not a lick of PPE in the bunch.
Wonderful Hymn…when we sing we pray twice…thanks Mr. Childers…honestly thank you.
Awesome song
He’s going to hell
Tyler fell off
I Miss the Red Barn Radio days of just Tyler and his acoustic. I love all his music but I fell in love with him playing that guitar solo.
This is awesome considering it is a Jubilee year

Said best…best said ❤️
Im gonna sound like one of them typical youtube comments but this song was dropped exactly a year after my grandpa died and he was the best man I knew. He kept my family together and in church and would do anything for my grandma. I think he would've liked this song.
Beautiful arrangement of one if my old times favorites.

I just found Tyler around 6 months ago, this may be the greatest song I've ever heard
I’m starting to think he really can heal Appalachia
I'd love to hear you cover some grunge in the future Tyler! Rooster, Say Hello To Heaven, Call Me A Dog, Hunger Strike, Leadbelly's Where did you sleep last night reinvented by Nirvana. You have the perfect range and gravel to do those songs justice!
Reaction to this song uploading stay tuned
Between YouTube and Pandora I think I've listened to this song 70 times in the last 48 hours. The second verse reminds me of my grandmother. The third verse resonates with me on a profound level. Truly the most beautifully written, arranged and performed song I've ever heard.
You outdid yourself Tyler! I'm looking forward to hearing the whole album and seeing you perform live one day!
Meh. He missed the mark on this one
For those of us raised in the Southeast, Deep South, or Appalachia, this song hits the soul. Our mamas and grandmamas kept us in church every time the doors cracked open. Many of us drifted away from church in our adult hood, but this song takes me back to 12 years old immediately like time travel.
Love to see it. God is Good
My man got Carole Baskin to be in the video.
FALSE DOCTRINE
Being from very nearby where Tyler was raised, his music has always struck a chord with me. This song? I needed this probably as much as he did. This one hit home in a whole different way. When a song hits you like this one does, you know God was involved. @Jarrett Lutz "5 miles deep inside his soul" was just about as perfect a description as I have ever heard.
Ngl I did forward forward in 1 minutes increments until I hit 4 minutes thinking the song was going to start… oh well it's cool
Absolutely incredible! Tyler’s songs have such an immersive quality. They just make you forget about everything going on around you. I’ve personally never had these types of musical experiences with any other artist. Tyler is on a whole other level and we’re so lucky to have him!
WVrocker6 that's the best line I've heard in a long time and I feel the same way.
Tom Hardy looks great in this video
