  14. I've read through the comments and people mention that "the grass isn't always greener on the other side." However that's not what ended the relationship between him and Mya. Mya was committed to him and was serious about wanting a future (e.g. Marriage) and Stormzy was not on the same page about settling down and was partying too much which Mya was not okay with. It's not that Stormzy cheated, it's the fact that when Mya rasied concerns about Stormzy's uncerious behaviour not matching her level of commitment, as he said in the song when she said "it's never going to work now", Stormzy did not take her seriously enough to (1) listen and understand why Mya said what she said, also (2) change in time before she left him.

    MORAL OF STORY Listen to you partner and if you truly love them, you will go out of your way to not only listen to them, but truly understand them, so that you can become the better version of yourself that is required for the relationship between the both of you to remain. Mya had standards and Stormzy did not meet them.

    Or to put it simply this seems to be the case of right person wrong time. Had the case been that Stormzy was more mature at the time, I doubt the breakup would have happened in the first place.

    I also want to make the point to say that "cheating" is not always the reason why relationships end, and for some reason society always loves to think that is the reason whenever a popular couple breaks up. There can be more to it than that people…
