    ನಮೋ ದೀರ್ಘಾಯ ಶುಷ್ಕಾಯ ಕಾಲದಂಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಮೋಽಸ್ತು ತೇ || ೪ ||

    ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಘೋರರೂಪಾಯ ದುರ್ನಿರೀಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಯ ತೇ ನಮಃ |
    ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಸರ್ವಭಕ್ಷಾಯ ವಲೀಮುಖ ನಮೋಽಸ್ತು ತೇ || ೫ ||

    ಸೂರ್ಯಪುತ್ತ್ರ ನಮಸ್ತೇಽಸ್ತು ಭಾಸ್ವರೋಭಯದಾಯಿನೇ |
    ಅಧೋದೃಷ್ಟೇ ನಮಸ್ತೇಽಸ್ತು ಸಂವರ್ತಕ ನಮೋಽಸ್ತು ತೇ || ೬ ||

    ನಮೋ ಮಂದಗತೇ ತುಭ್ಯಂ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಭಾಯ ನಮೋನಮಃ |
    ತಪಸಾ ಜ್ಞಾನದೇಹಾಯ ನಿತ್ಯಯೋಗರತಾಯ ಚ || ೭ ||

    ಜ್ಞಾನಚಕ್ಷುರ್ನಮಸ್ತೇಽಸ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಯಪಾತ್ಮಜಸೂನವೇ |
    ತುಷ್ಟೋ ದದಾಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಂ ತ್ವಂ ಕ್ರುದ್ಧೋ ಹರಸಿ ತತ್‍ ಕ್ಷಣಾತ್ || ೮ ||

    ದೇವಾಸುರಮನುಷ್ಯಾಶ್ಚ ಸಿದ್ಧವಿದ್ಯಾಧರೋರಗಾಃ |
    ತ್ವಯಾವಲೋಕಿತಾಸ್ಸೌರೇ ದೈನ್ಯಮಾಶುವ್ರಜಂತಿತೇ || ೯ ||

    ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾ ಶಕ್ರೋಯಮಶ್ಚೈವ ಮುನಯಃ ಸಪ್ತತಾರಕಾಃ |

    Om. Sri Shani Stotra, Dasharatha is the Rishi (seer of the mantra). Shanaishchara is God (related to this hymn). Trishtup is a metre. Enjoined is repetition (of this hymn) for the appeasement of Shanaishchara (Saturn).
