The Argala Stotram is a famous and powerful hymn to the Goddess, extracted from the Devi Mahamyam of the Markdandeya Puranam. Each of the verses bring to the forefront the qualities of the great Goddess Chandika, and how these qualities are in fact the root source of our own qualities.

Beseeching the divine through this hymn, especially during Navaratri is a great means to balance oneself, to kindle the qualities of strength and fearlessness and also to attract positivity.
