This is a good effort. People want to know what the great sahasranama slokam means,, so they can enjoy and resonate with the subject and substance. Of course people would say that the samskrit version contains beeja manthras that lend power to the prayer. But many samskrit words understandable in Tamil are also incorporated in the translation and the best part is that people understand what they say and this would more than make up for any loss in a translaion from original which is natural but not defective. We can go for totally Tamil composition on the Devi if we want – chanting Abirami Anthathi etc too. Whoever wish to chant the celebrated Lalitha devi's divine names with involvement can hear this being beautifully sung in this clip. My congrats to all who had posted this blessed slokam in full with simple spoken Tamil words.
