Shelly has served on staff as a worship leader at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN (from 2005-2011), First Baptist Church Woodstock GA (from 2012-2015), Woodstock City Church, a campus of North Point Ministries (from 2016 – 2022), and currently serves as worship leader at her home church First Baptist Alpharetta.

In October 2017, Shelly released a stunning Christmas album, Christmas Is Beautiful, and she and her band partner with churches around the country to present the Christmas Is Beautiful Tour each Christmas season.
