Always thought to myself ..Planes should have parachutes Which Airlines would never do (cost trainning escape design etc) But how do you design a flight system that has more control than the pilot? To someone who does not know about planes They buy a ticket and expect the plane to take them to the place they want to go…If something does go wrong They expect the pilot to be fully trainning to fix the problem …..How does one fix a problem with no control over something designed to help? Wow, this has to be one of the most spellbinding stories I've ever seen on YouTube and the most disturbing. The pilot of that plane has got to be the most proficient and talented one I've ever heard of. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it under circumstances that would most ordinary mortals would find totally overwhelming. If I ever find myself on another plane, I want a pilot exactly like him. As for the way Fuzzy was treated, well, how reprehensible can Qantas get? Give him his due for Chrissake.

I'm going to be that guy and say that even though he landed the plane without any fatalities, he's not exactly a hero. He was doing his job, that's it. I would imagine that there are many other pilots out there who would've done the same thing.

I have flown on a 737 but we never had any problems, since the two crashes the airline we usually fly grounded all 737 Max planes.
