There is no creativity Ar rahman in his new songs.. All songs looks like a repetition on the former
Ok. Here me out on this and don't go negative on me.
The theme of this song reminds me so much of "Kalarivilakku Thelinjathaano" from "Oru Vadakkan Verragaadha". Friends travelling on a boat singing about love and wondering what the lover is like. The only difference being that in the former the lady describes her man as the epitome of beauty while in this song the friend questions the prospective lover, his nature/motive. Nevertheless, a masterpiece of a song! So much poetry and the magic of innocence that Rahman weaves with his music. The outfits are simply stunning and Trisha is simply regal. I can't take my eyes of Sobhita Dhulipala. Such an ethereal beauty! When I saw her in Kurup, i thought how much of a Malayali she looked like, and here she looks every bit like a Tamizh beauty. I'm so glad she is working in outstanding South Indian productions.
Also, what a brilliant idea to bring in the voice of Sana Moidutty, I am so glad that she has such a wonderful original Rahman song in her kitty.
Can't wait to watch this on the big screen.
