The documentary film Back in Time is, at its heart, a look at the very real impact the Back to the Future movies have had on our culture. What was once a little idea that spawned a tightly-focused documentary has grown into something truly amazing over two years of filming. Back in Time is a cinematic monument to the vastness of the trilogy’s fandom. In addition to the footage and interviews revolving around the time machine itself, the crew found that simply by delving into the impact of the trilogy an epic journey began to unfold before them. The crew captured countless hours of footage during filming. From Steven Spielberg to Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, to the Sheas and Hollers, and from James Tolkan and Lea Thompson to Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox, Back in Time features interview after interview that simply must be seen.

The ensemble acting was probably the best I've ever seen in any film. And what kid doesn't sometimes wish he could fix his parents, and so make his/her own life better?
They claim here "there's nothing like (this movie)". I disagree – I believe "Peggy Sue Got Married" is very, very close to the plot of "Back to the Future" (though I don't believe there was plagiarism).
Youtubes really hittin the ads hard
Back to the future and the 80s were amazing
This is one of the greatest videos I've ever watched. It has touched my heart.
35 years later and it's STILL my favorite movie of all time. Everyone who knows me can answer the question what my favorite movie of all time is.
My toes cringed watching the people test the hoverboard in bare feet
Goldie Wilson hasn't aged.
I Hated everything about all these movies. Hated the actors, I Hated that Stupid ASS Car. Everything about the WRITTERS, The Director's. It had no moral's no concept, no reason for it to be put on a cartoon drawing, let alone all these BTTF. HAD I BEEN GOD I'D DESTROY IT BEFORE IT EVER GOT STARTED..!!!
If they ever make a remake it will probably be terrible
yyyUP Dun Dat !
I think the best part of this video has to be at 1:31:35. The Rick n Morty guy, when asked how he would use the time machine, says that he'd like to visit the 1920s for several reasons, but most notably that he'd "get to wear a hat." He follows this up with, "I could probably wear a hat now, but, uh, it makes me nervous." I'm exceedingly glad that I stuck around to hear that little nugget of comedy.
Coke buys columbia?? Thought coke came from columbia??? Lol
this guy has a Gravity gun AND a Portal gun sitting on his desk!!

Am I the only one to just now realize that the guy auditioning Marty McFly's band at the beginning was Huey Lewis himself?
37:31 Amen!!!!!
The 80's were THE best time of my life and I agree women were very beautiful in that era. They weren't all tatted up with face piercings like so many are today.
watch a bunch of fat nerds talk about a movie you already saw 100 times.
Hate that fat greasy slob Dan Harmon.
Flux capacitors suck balls. The singer is cringey AF!!! They pretty just jumped on BTTF coat tales
Why even have Goldie Wilson ???? Smallest worst role
Ive never seen any of these movies.
The Rick and Morty fuck is really annoying. Dude's living in his own bubble drinking his own piss.
Your future is whatever you make it
If you have ANYTHING against Eric Stoltz, you better go watch Memphis Belle. He was a fabulous actor. But just wrong for BTTF.
BTTF was the first movie we watched when we got our first VCR in 1987 … i can still remember my family setting up the VCR and the video playing and it being all staticy cause they didnt know to set the TV to channel 4 and had it set to channel 3
Dan Harmon was the most annoying part of this documentary for me. Almost everything he said felt completely disconnected from the movies actual spirit. This film certainly seemed to get sidetracked often but still offered some interesting info. Unfortunately no Biff or George interviews leave it feeling a bit empty.
