The Maha Ganapati Sahasranama is a hymn of praise in which Ganapati is referred to by 1,000 different names. Ganesha Sahasranamas are recited in many temples today as a living part of Ganesha devotion.
There are two different major versions of the Ganesha Sahasranama, One version appears in Ganesh Puranam and second version appears in Rudrayamala.
Sri Maha Ganapati Sahasranama used in this video is revealed by Lord Mahaganpati himself in Ganesha Purana (chapter I.46).
Sri Bhaskararaya has written a concise commentary on this Sahasranama called Khadyota.
